Uniforms
Pahiatua School has a school uniform. This is available at the office.
The uniform is available from school and is a very good quality. It consists of a polo shirt with an optional fleece top (which does become necessary in winter!). They may wear either long trousers, shorts, skirt or skorts on the lower half as long as they are black and tidy. These can be items of clothing which your child already has. We do ask that their colours are restricted to red and black so any leggings, thermals or skivies should also black.
There are no specific shoes required.
We realise that the cost of uniforms are a burden on parents initially and we do offer a number of ways to reduce the impact of the intial outlay. Firstly, we offer automatic payments of a small weekly amount. This can also cover stationery, trips, fees and other odd costs that might pop up. Please check with the office if you would like to set up an automatic payment. Secondly, some secondhand items are available - please ask at the office and thirdly, we will endeavour to seek subsidies to help out those who require financial support. Please ask the principal about this fund.
