Parents at School
Parents are very welcome at the school. Please come along to the many activities that we have throughout the year. Providing transport, working with children in small groups, listening to children read and helping with sports programmes are just some of the activities we love to have parent help with.
We do appreciate the help and support that parents and friends of the school give us.
The School and Community
This is YOUR school. It does not just belong to the Ministry of Education, teachers or pupils. The school belongs to, and should be part of, the community. Thousands of dollars worth of facilities exist at your school and these facilities are, within reason, avaliable for use on request by responsible members of the community or community organisations.
It also follows that if this school is your school, you are welcome in it. We like to see parents. Unless good communication exists between parents and the school, we will not be 100% successful in our mutual task - the total education of your child.
