Board of Trustees

Like all schools in New Zealand, Pahiatua School is governed by a board of trustees who set policy and guide management in implementation of the curriculum and establishment of the learning environment as outlined by the Ministry of Education and local community. These volunteers not only ensure that achievement in learning is taking place but also that the buildings and finances remain healthy and that the school is an attractive place to work and learn.

Meetings are generally held on the second Tuesday of each month in the meeting room at school, at 6.00pm.  Everyone is welcome.

If parents or caregivers have questions or concerns they would like raised the procedure to follow is to contact either the Principal or a board member who will be able to answer the question or at least ensure it will be placed on to the agenda for discussion by the board if that is appropriate.
